Chromebooks
BORROWING POLICY

Kindergarten students may check out 1 book each week provided they return their previously checked out library book. Books stay in the classroom. Parents wishing to have their students bring home books may stop by the library or send a note to the teacher.

1st-grade students may check out 2 books each week provided the student is able to read 1 of the books on their own or with some guidance.

2nd through 8th-grade students may have 2 library books out at a time in addition to their class literature book and any needed research books.

Generally, books are due after 1 week. Books may be renewed if a student is not finished reading their library book or if they are still using the research books they borrowed.
TEXTBOOKS
-
Textbooks are checked out by students for the school year or for the school trimester.

Core Literature books are titles classes or grade levels are reading together and they are checked out for several weeks at a time.

Teachers have class sets of History, Language Arts and Science textbooks.
